    About the game

Thing Finder is an AI object-finding playground on CrazyJev. Describe a category, a use, or an idea such as “things I would wear in winter,” and watch Jev select from 104 emoji objects. Change the description to explore how those objects connect.

    How Jev takes part

Jev AI reads your description and evaluates the fixed object catalog when you search. It can interpret purposes and exclusions, rather than only matching exact names. The selected objects float up; gravity, dragging, and throwing run locally in your browser. Jev can make mistakes.

    How to play

    1. Type a description or choose an example. Search runs after a short pause in typing; press Enter to search immediately.
    2. Watch the objects Jev selects rise out of the pile. Add a condition, such as “without shoes,” to ask Jev for a new selection.
    3. Drag or throw the objects, shuffle the pile, or clear the search to drop the results back down. Try another idea whenever you like.

    Controls

Type in the search field with a keyboard. Use a mouse or touch to drag objects. With an object focused, arrow keys choose another object; Space or Enter grabs or releases it. While holding an object, arrow keys move it and Escape releases it. Clear search resets the selection.

    Modes and goals

This is open-ended exploration with no countdown, points, or win condition. Every search asks Jev for a live selection. You can play with the physical pile without searching; that interaction does not make an AI request.

    Your results

A completed search shows up to 24 selected objects and the number found. These are Jev’s choices from the same 104 objects, not new objects or web results. Clearing removes the selection. An empty selection is distinct from a failed request; an error lets you retry.

    Questions about this game

Does Thing Finder search the web or create new objects?

No. It searches only the 104 emoji objects already in this playground. You can describe an idea in your own words, but an object outside that collection cannot appear.

Can I narrow a search by adding conditions?

Yes. Try “winter clothing,” then “winter clothing without shoes.” Editing the description asks Jev to evaluate the collection again. Example buttons also make live requests; they do not load a preset answer.

Why did Jev choose something unexpected or find nothing?

Jev interprets your description and can misjudge a match. Try naming a purpose or adding a specific condition. A completed search may find nothing in this collection. If the request fails, the game shows an error and a retry button instead of treating that failure as an empty result.
